Designed to support barrier-free living without compromising architectural expression, the Jory Residence reinterprets the modern Northwest home through a composition of timber, glass, and natural materials. The design is organized as a series of interconnected volumes that frame views of the surrounding landscape while fostering a seamless relationship between indoor and outdoor living.
Expressive exposed timber beams establish the home's architectural identity, bringing warmth and texture to clean contemporary forms. A transparent glass gallery connects the main residence to the guest suite wing, creating a light-filled transition that serves as both a functional link and a defining architectural feature. A restrained palette of wood, glass, and natural stone complements the simple forms, resulting in a home that is both timeless and thoughtfully designed for lasting livability.
